Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all orders placed on altrnow.com (the "Site"), operated by BHX Private Limited ("BHX", "we", "us", "our") for the brand altr. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. This Policy should be read together with our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Order cancellations

You may cancel your order any time before it is dispatched (i.e., before it has been handed over to our logistics partner and marked as shipped).

To cancel, email contact@altrnow.com with your order number as early as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and initiate a full refund to your original payment method.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. Because altr is a consumable, ingestible product, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind after dispatch. Please see our Shipping & Returns Policy for how damaged, defective, or wrong items are handled.

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to reasons such as product unavailability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent or unauthorised activity. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you will receive a full refund.

Refunds

When a refund is issued

A refund will be initiated in the following cases:

• you cancel an eligible order before dispatch;
• your order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, was reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo or video proof, and a replacement is not possible (see Shipping & Returns Policy); or
• we cancel your paid order for any reason.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (the card, UPI, netbanking, or wallet used at checkout) via our payment gateway (Razorpay and/or PayU).

Once approved, refunds are initiated promptly and typically reflect in your account within 5–7 business days. The exact time to credit depends on your bank or payment provider and is outside our control.

Partial and adjusted refunds

Where applicable, refunds may be adjusted for any costs incurred by us, such as return shipping charges arising from an incorrect address, refused delivery, or repeated failed delivery attempts, as described in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Replacements

For eligible damaged, defective, or wrong items, we will first offer a free replacement of the same product. A refund is provided only where a replacement is not possible.
